PLACES TO VISIT

Tooti Jharna Temple
The Temple is Situated about 7 km from Ramgarh cantonment on NH-33 (Patna-Ranchi highway), it is a famous temple.
There are many Shiv Mandirs in our country, but the story of the broken water shrine located in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand is very different.
The stream of water comes from the statue of Mother Ganga, which keeps falling directly on Shivlinga. Where the stream of water comes from, it still remains a mystery.

Rajrappa Waterfall
Rajrappa is a waterfall and a pilgrimage centre in Ramgarh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Rajrappa is located at Chota Nagpur Plateau (section Ranchi plateau)
from great height forming hanging valleys. At Rajrappa (10 m), the Bhera river coming over from the Ranchi plateau hangs above the Damodar River.

Mayatungri Temple
If you are looking for an ideal tourist spot at Ramgarh, which is also a Hindu pilgrimage centre, then the Mayatungri Temple would be the perfect choice. With it’s panoramic natural beauty, this temple is 5 km south of Ramgarh in the Chutupalu Valley. It is at a height of 300 ft. Every year a local festival known as Karma is celebrated with enthusiasm by the locals and people from the neighbouring villages. There is popular belief among the locals that praying on the hill brings rain to the area. Durga Puja and Navaratri are celebrated twice a year on the hill.

Patratu Dam
The dam was made to store water of the Nalkari River; this is the main attraction of Patratu. One can see flying fish at sunrise by sitting at the edge of the dam. Very few people know there is a tunnel below the dam which connects two villages of Patratu, Labga and Hariharpur.
The view of the dam from Patratu Valley is breathtaking. It attracts tourist from Bihar & Jaharkhand.

Patratu Ghati
Flanked by hills covered with lush green trees, red and violet flowers and honey bees humming, the Pithouria-Patratu Valley is no less attractive than the valleys on the Gangtok-Nathula, Dehradun-Mussouri and Raxaul-Kathmandu roads in terms of natural elegance.
The jingle-jangle of waterfalls and rivulets rushing through the stones, soothed the ears, and eyes, even more than any maestro’s music.
