Tried this and the Chicken and Strawberries over mixed greens in the same week to compare. This one came out on top. Just likes all the flavors and textures in this one.

this is a really great, fresh, fast salad that can be made at home but tastes like something you'd get in a restaurant! my fiance and i don't like blue cheese so we substituted reduced fat feta and used slivered almonds instead of cashews. soooo good!

I was really looking forward to this and it just wasn't good. The only changes I made to the recipe were using a pomegranate red wine vinegar and grilled chicken instead of store-bought rotisserie, The flavors did not come together at all. Something about the combination of the arugula, the strawberries, and the blue cheese was very unpleasant although I can't quite pinpoint exactly what made it so offensive to my palate. I definitely will not make this again.

This has a great balance of flavors. I make it every year when strawberries are in season. It's a nice dish to make for guests.

As many others did, we subbed feta for the blue cheese. I would definitely serve this to dinner guests.

just wondering why this is a light recipe with over 16 grams of fat?

I have made this many times and my family loves it. I saute chicken breasts in a little butter and salt and pepper rather than buying a rotissery chicken. I put the greens on a big platter and then top with all the ingredients except the dressing, which I let the diners put on themselves. It looks impressive and it tastes great!

This was a good salad; a nice change with fresh fruit. The dressing, on the other hand, is AMAZING! The tangy blue cheese, the crunchy/salty cashews, and the sweet strawberries, the dressing really does lend a hand in bringing them all together. Definitely make the toasted bread so you can soak up the dressing from the plate!

This is a great dinner salad. I thought the blue cheese might be a little overwhelming, so I substituted goat cheese and it was great. Perfect salad for the summer.

Lovely summer dinner - even my husband who isn't a fan of dinner salads liked this one. I didn't have cashews on hand, so substituted toasted pistachios. They worked well & next time I may try toasted pecans.

I picked up a roasted turkey breast from the Safeway deli and took the skin off to substitute for the chicken breast. I also used mixed greens as that is what I had on hand. What a delightful combination of flavors! I wouldn't hesitate to serve this salad to guests but we made it a meal by adding a slice of sourdough bread. It is a great recipe on a hot summer's night when you don't feel like cooking. Feta would make an easy substitution for the blue cheese if you don't like BC (but the BC was excellent!). Definitely a keeper recipe. :-)

I was looking for a way to enjoy strawberry season and this salad was a great way to do so. I packed the leftovers into containers for lunch for a couple of days and thought that it held up relatively well.

Brought this to a party and it was a hit! Feta can be subbed for blue cheese. Be sure not to mix ingredients and dressing together until immediately before serving. I will make this one again.

I am so skeptical anytime I try to serve a salad for dinner, but I thought this was a wonderful recipe. I probably added more cheese and cashews than the recipe called for but I'm sure it would have been good if I had followed the exact measurements too. I served it with bread sticks. It's a nice new way to enjoy strawberry season!!
