Samantha’s passion for music began when she was very young. She grew up in a musical family that influenced her to pursue a full-time career in music. Fish knew how to play the drums by the age of fourteen. At fifteen she switched to guitar. Fish then went to the Knucklhedas saloon to hear a lot of blue artists perform. She then joined the singers and bands that were playing there at the age of eighteen.
In 2009, Samantha was able to record her first song with a producer named Live Bait. She then got the attention of a talent company that recommended her to Ruff Records. Fish was grouped together with two other female blues artists named Cassie Taylor and Dan Wilde. Together with the trio formed Girls with Guitars. A few years later, the trio began touring under Ruf Records as The Samantha Fish Band.
In 2013, she released her first album titled Turquoise. Her major second album Black Wind was released the same year. Her third studio album, Wild Heart was then released in 2015. Samantha’s music from all three of her albums was doing well by the time she dropped her fourth album titled, Chills & Fever back in 2017. Her fifth album, Belle of the West was released in December 2017. Fish’s sixth studio album Kill or Be Kind was released in 2019. Her most recent project /album is titled Faster.
